You might remember Matti and Sheryl from their amazingly creative and unique reception back in May. I had the pleasure of being asked to photograph their official wedding ceremony at the end of June, at Bonsai West Nursery in Littleton, MA. The garden is closed to the public on Tuesdays, so it was the perfect peaceful haven for these two to make their marriage official. In a small and personalized exchange of vows, they drew on their own creative voices to affirm their commitment to each other (Matti's drawing was a total and touching surprise to Sheryl) and then celebrated afterwards with an early happy hour (it's 5pm somewhere, right?) complete with champagne toast and a pesto cake (no, not a typo and yes it was SO delicious!) made by Victoria Wallins of Halvah Heaven and some simple yet meaningful design set ups by Urit Chaimovitz.
Matti and Sheryl - it has been so wonderful to see the two of you celebrate your wedding(s) in your own way and on your own time, to make it memorable for both of you. Congratulations!!!
