The most patient mama I know

I have photographed these good friends of ours for the past two years. One of those recent sessions was a maternity one, celebrating the soon-to-be newest addition to their home. We planned it around the idea that little Caitlin would be arriving via a planned c-section and just in case set it up a month earlier. Heather is a real planner, organizer, and quite frankly one of the best dinner hosts and dessert makers around (I think it's in her Southern genes!), so her grace and positive attitude when her pregnancy plan suddenly changed a week later and she was on hospital bedrest for three weeks, was even more impressive. And then of course, Caitlin couldn't wait any longer to meet her family and decided that a Fourth of July unplanned arrival was a big way to join them. I was so thankful to be able to document this 3+1 family and I know they are just so relieved that she is here and 100% healthy.  Welcome to the world Caitlin!
